SICT grants FONADIN-BANOBRAS the Title of Assignment of the Mexico-Toluca Train

#SecretaríaDeComunicacionesYTransporte.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), granted the National Infrastructure Fund (FONADIN) trust, constituted by the National Bank of Public Works and Services (BANOBRAS) the Assignment Title of the Interurban Train Mexico-Toluca (TIMT) for its operation and exploitation.

Jorge Arganis Díaz-Leal, and the assignee represented by the Public Fiduciary Delegate 1936 called National Infrastructure Fund, Mr. Carlos Mier y Terán Ordiales, headed the transfer.

By means of the Assignment Title, Fonadin-Banobras will be able to carry out the provision of the public passenger railroad transportation service in the regular interurban modality on the TIMT railroad, including the permits to provide the required auxiliary services.

SICT is obliged to continue with the construction of the infrastructure and equipment of the TIMT until its completion and to deliver to the assignee the assets in good condition according to the established characteristics and with the trains running and operating efficiently and safely.
