#ISSSTE.- The Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste) urges public servants to check that their personal data is up to date in order to expedite the processing of benefits. This avoids setbacks when requesting medical attention, insurance or any other type of service, said the Deputy Director of Affiliation and Validity of Rights, Elizabeth Guerrero Sañudo.

Following the instruction of the General Director, Pedro Zenteno Santaella, to facilitate access to benefits for the beneficiaries, it is important for workers to have their affiliation and validity information updated, she commented during the third edition of the Health Fair «¿Ya PrevIssste? You already did it!»

The first step is to validate your information, which you can do via the internet at the institute’s Virtual Office at oficinavirtual.issste.gob.mx/. To do this, you must register as a user to access your electronic file; if you are unable to register, you can go to your human resources area.

When the employing agency does not report a worker’s medical service registration to Issste, you can request it at the Affiliation and Economic Benefits Department of the State or Regional Representative Office or at the corresponding Family Medicine Clinic.
