Telecomm in Mexico, a State-of-the-Art Institution: Jiménez Pons / @SCT_mx >>>

#SCT.- Telecomunicaciones de México (Telecomm) has distinguished itself as a vanguard institution whose efforts include the reduction of the digital divide and social and financial inclusion, said the Undersecretary of Transportation, Rogelio Jiménez Pons.

Representing the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation, Civil Engineer Jorge Arganis Díaz-Leal, the official attended the «2-year Management-Accountability Report» of Telecomm’s General Director, Rocío Mejía Flores.

In her opportunity, the head of Telecomm pointed out that when she took office two years ago «we set out to recover Telecomm. We are raising and repositioning this important organism».

She mentioned that currently and under the instruction of the President of the Republic, TELECOMM will be transformed into the new «Financiera para el Bienestar», where the reception of REMESAS will be boosted; solidarity credits will be offered to cooperative companies and Popular Savings will be promoted.
