#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- To strengthen their respective tourism industries, the Municipal Government of San Miguel de Allende, headed by President Mauricio Trejo, and the Aspen Chamber Resorts Association (ACRA) formalized a common front.

During a friendly dinner with representatives of the ACRA, the San Miguel president agreed with executive president Debbie Braun to join efforts, benefits and best practices in favor of the tourists in common, that is, Aspen residents who travel and own properties in San Miguel, as well as Mexicans who vacation in Aspen and also own properties in this Colorado city.

«It was an extremely productive meeting with the Chamber of Commerce, we agreed on issues such as conservation of our cities, also on how important it is to maintain cultural quality tourism. To make a common front in these times for that captive tourism we already have, to make it feel even better, that it is part of a common front of tourist cities of great category and that, undoubtedly, gives you advantages over other tourist destinations» expressed Mauricio Trejo.

This direct approach of the municipal president with the business community of Aspen reinforces the confidence of San Miguel de Allende as a cultural tourist destination of great category, despite the issuance of «red cards» generated by the U.S. Embassy for reasons of insecurity.
