#GobiernoDeMéxico.- At around 7: 15 a.m. (Mexico Central Time), the president left the National Palace towards the Plaza de la Constitución accompanied by the head of the Mexico City Government, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo; the secretaries of the Interior, Adán Augusto López Hernández; of National Defense, Luis Cresencio Sandoval González and of the Navy, José Rafael Ojeda Durán; the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Rosa Icela Rodríguez Velázquez; the National Coordinator of Civil Protection, Laura Velázquez Alzúa; the Commander of the National Guard, Luis Rodríguez Bucio and the National President of the Mexican Red Cross, Fernando Suinaga Cárdenas.

In the Zócalo, the Chief Executive observed a minute of silence in memory of the people who lost their lives as a result of the earthquakes, while members of the Armed Forces sang the Toque de Silencio. The national flag will remain at half-mast.
