Public services personnel from Atizapán de Zaragoza, in the State of México, are certified in tree pruning and felling / @Pedro_RVillegas @GobAtizapan >>>

#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The Municipal President, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, presented awards to workers from the Parks and Gardens area, attached to the Public Services Department, for their certification in pruning and felling of urban trees.

In a ceremony held at the Firefighters Training Center, the Mayor congratulated the personnel who are also already able to apply safety and work techniques in forest harvesting, follow methods of forest harvesting systems and comply with the State Environmental Technical Standard NTEA-018-SEMAGEM-DS-2017.

«For their safety, they have other elements to take care of themselves, to use the tools properly, not to have work risks and, then, maintenance to the tools,» detailed Enrique González Fonseca, Director of Public Services of the Municipality.

«They already know how to sharpen blades, how to use the tool properly and the effectiveness, productivity for pruning and felling trees.»

The Director explained that, as part of the training, in addition to the theory, they did practices regarding the use and maintenance of their equipment, they studied the type of tree cutting, felling and pruning. Some of the activities were carried out at the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo and in Colonia Villas de la Hacienda.
