Municipality of Monterrey resumes awarding of the Diego de Montemayor Merit Medal / @colosioriojas @mtygob

#Monterrey, #NuevoLeón. – The Municipal President, Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas, together with members of the City Council, and representatives of the three branches of government and the State Government, led a Guard of Honor at the Obelisk of the city, where a wreath was placed and the chronicler Leopoldo Espinosa Benavides, read the founding charter.

Later, in the City Council, the Mayor awarded three medals of Merit «Diego de Montemayor» edition 2022, to the citizens Carlos Bremer Gutierrez and Yolanda Santos de Hoyos, as well as to the civil association «Buscadoras de Nuevo Leon».

«I want to thank and publicly recognize our three award winners, Buscadoras de Nuevo León, Mrs. Yolanda Santos and Mr. Carlos Bremer, because their work over many years, each in their own niche, is worthy of recognition, applause and dissemination, so that more people can follow their example because their actions have even transcended the borders of our city, and the impact of their actions goes far beyond short-term benefits, they are already part of a legacy that this city has,» said Colosio.
