#ISSSTE.- So far this year, a total of 2,78,585 pieces of medical equipment, supplies and furniture have been delivered to clinics and hospitals from the central warehouse, informed Pedro Zenteno Santaella, Director General of the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste).

He said that the institution is making progress in equipping first, second and third level medical units, with the distribution of 39,921 medical equipment, supplies, furniture, uniforms, shoes, hospital and surgical clothing, which took place from November 14 to 17 from the institute’s central warehouses for Family Medicine Clinics (CMF), Regional Hospitals (HR) in Mexico City, Guanajuato, Hidalgo and Zacatecas.

«We continue working and advancing in strengthening this organism in all aspects, with equipment, supplies, maintenance, expansions, remodeling, construction and medicines, actions aimed at the transformation of the new Issste,» he said.

In the CMFs of Narvarte, Del Valle, Ermita, Peralvillo, «Perú», Guerrero, Santa María, «Javier Gómez Estrada», Milpa Alta, Fuentes Brotantes, Tlalpan, Revolución and the Clínica de Medicina Familiar con Especialidad y Quirófano (CMFEQ) «Dr. Alberto Pisanty Ovadó. Alberto Pisanty Ovadia», in Mexico City, 5,366 pieces of hospital and operating room linen were distributed; 798 pieces of furniture; 10 periodontal probes; an equipped dental unit; a stretcher cart and an electrocardiograph.

Four thousand 782 pieces of hospital and surgical clothing; seven thousand 701 uniforms; two thousand 985 pairs of shoes; 78 units of furniture to equip the facilities of the state representative office and medical units were sent to Hidalgo.
