#Cultura.- On December 13 and 15, 2022, Abel Andrade Mendiola, Miryam Andrea Villafuerte Domínguez, Iris Córdoba Cuevas and Ana Felicitas Niño Martínez will take their professional exams to obtain their degrees in percussion, harp and horn, respectively, thus joining the more than 70 instrumentalists who have completed their studies in the teaching model promoted by the National System of Musical Promotion (SNFM), an institution of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico.

This training model for instrumentalists focuses on the design, planning, development and implementation of educational policies aimed at fostering collective musical practice and training new generations of musicians in the country.

The three graduation concerts are part of the Gran finale program (evoking the last movement of a sonata, symphony or concerto) and will be in chamber format, in which each of these instrumentalists will showcase their musical skills, their instrumental technique, as well as their command of the stage; at the same time they bring the public closer to the classical and contemporary repertoire of percussion, harp and horn. Access to these performances will be free to the public.

The presentations of the Gran finale, these exams have been taken during this 2022, in which, up to November, 15 instrumentalists of the Orquesta Escuela Carlos Chávez (OECCh) have obtained their Bachelor’s degree, which indicates that this year will surpass the results obtained in 2021.
