#EstadoDeMéxico.- With the purpose of promoting traditions that foster family unity, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism held a traditional posada at the Hacienda La Pila Museum, which was the setting for one of the most popular Christmas celebrations in Mexico.

In an afternoon full of joy, children, adults and senior citizens enjoyed asking for a posada as Joseph and Mary did, prior to the birth of the Christ Child.

This activity began at the Museum of Anthropology, where the attendees carried the holy pilgrims, and remembered how it was the journey to find a suitable place where the redeemer of the world would be born.

Accompanied by Christmas carols, the pilgrims arrived at the doors of the Hacienda La Pila Museum where they interpreted the litany to ask for an inn, and the staff of this precinct was waiting for them with the choir «entren santos peregrinos», to continue with this celebration.

With candles, lights and joy they entered the Museum to place the pilgrims in the place where they will remain until January.
