IMSS authorities supervise care processes in the Emergency Department of the Regional General Hospital No. 2 in Villa Coapa / @zoerobledo @Tu_IMSS >>>

#IMSS.- The Director of Medical Services of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Dr. Célida Duque Molina, made a supervisory tour of the Hospitalization and Emergency Department of the Villa Coapa Regional Hospital No. 2.

He informed that the visit is part of the supervision carried out by authorities of the Medical Services Directorate in hospitals throughout the country.

He announced that a person from Social Work will be present in each space with waiting times at the HGR No. 2 of Villa Coapa, in order to talk with the patients to detect areas of opportunity.

«We have to monitor waiting times in the ER, classification of patients in the ER and, above all, surgical interventions of pediatric and adult patients in the ER and hospitalization services,» she said.

The Director of Medical Services pointed out that the participation of Social Work is a priority in this hospital, especially in the areas of Emergency, Outpatient, Specialties and Reports.

«We are sure that we can achieve improvements; let’s keep working,» he said.
