Córdoba students participate in IVAI project on the correct use of personal data / @PdteJuanMtnez @AytoCordobaVer >>>

#Córdoba, #Ver.- With the «Lentes Project» Educational Readings for Children on Transparency and Safe Environments, the Veracruz Institute of Access to Information (IVAI) in coordination with the City of Cordoba, seek to promote among children, the care and protection of personal data, in order to prevent misuse of the same and place them at risk, said Naldy Patricia Rodriguez Lagunes, Commissioner President of IVAI.

With the participation of around 200 students from the elementary schools Francisco I. Madero, Carlos A. Carrillo and Benito Juárez, the IVAI carried out a series of activities such as: reading stories, video projection and games, where they sought to generate a real awareness among students about the importance of the correct use of personal data on social networks.

The Municipal President, Juan Martinez Flores welcomed the participants and thanked the State Government for this project that protects children’s personal data, «it is fundamental for the growth we long for, the respect for human rights and the recovery of values that have been lost».

Rodriguez Lagunes in his message to the children added: «personal data make them unique, make them identifiable, but can also put them at risk, we want to present to you the exercise of the right of access to information that is what we care from the IVAI», also, he invited to participate in the call for children’s drawing that will be divided into two categories and will have to relate to the risks found in the use of social networks.
