SICT kicks off Holy Week Holiday Operation 2023 on highways and bus terminals / @jorgenunol @SCT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) informs that starting tomorrow, April 1, the #SemanaSanta2023 holiday operation will begin on federal highways and passenger bus terminals, to provide safety and prevent accidents.

This special program, in effect until April 16, will involve public servants from the General Directorate of Protection and Preventive Medicine in Transportation (DGPMPT), the General Directorate of Federal Motor Transport (DGAF) and the SICT Centers, in coordination with elements of the National Guard.

Priority will be given, with preventive objectives, to 26 highway points of the national territory identified for their accident rate, including bus terminals.

Among the measures taken by the DGPMPT are the verification of the psychophysical integrity of the personnel (operators), for which purpose medical examinations will be carried out during operation, including: general inspection; intentional interrogation; assessment of vital signs and ocular and osteotendinous reflexes and psychomotor coordination; examination of the cardiac area; detection of alcoholic beverage intake; and assessment of signs of fatigue.
