#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- Highlighting its cultural essence, San Miguel de Allende once again experienced the traditional procession of the Holy Burial in front of 40,000 people.

This year 2023 was the 310th edition of this procession that, year after year, marks Holy Week in this World Heritage City, with more than 2,200 participants representing the act of burying the body of Christ taken down from the cross and the devotion of the people of San Miguel to accompany the Blessed Virgin in her moment of greatest pain.

Showing deep respect and solemnity, thousands of entire families lived their faith; they also appreciated the beauty and handcrafted details of the venerated images, the elegance of the participants, the colorful flowers, metallic ornaments and lighted lanterns, as well as an atmosphere with the smell of incense, with the parish of San Miguel Arcángel as a witness of this Holy Week celebration.
