#GobiernoDeMéxico.- At the head of the morning press conference, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador informed that the activity of the Popocatépetl volcano remains at Yellow Traffic Light Phase 3; he also said that the Mexican Government permanently monitors the situation and informs the population with timeliness and truthfulness, so he called not to fall into alarmism.

«There is also less ash emitted, basically more towards Puebla, the rest of the states do not have ash rain (…) The evacuation routes have already been checked, so there is no problem; we are working on everything preventive, but there should be no alarm and try to be very objective when informing so as not to frighten the people», said the President.

He pointed out that specialists in the matter are meeting in order to review the behavior of the volcano.

The Chief Executive clarified that commercial airline flights were reestablished, so that in some cases the delay in the service is due to internal problems of the companies.
