#EstadoDeVeracruz.- The construction of the Nautla Community Hospital is underway; this Tuesday Governor Cuitláhuac García Jiménez reaffirmed his commitment to the more than 34 thousand inhabitants of this and the municipalities of Misantla, San Rafael, Tecolutla and Vega de Alatorre, who were left with a work in ruins that cost more than 30 million pesos.

After 11 years of abandonment of a monument to corruption that had no way of being finished, the project starts from scratch on a 6,000 square meter plot of land donated to the Health Services of Veracruz by the City Council, where the state administration will spend 140 million pesos on the structure and 65 million pesos on equipment to get the unit up and running.

On the first floor, the building will house the emergency rooms, outpatients, imaging, obstetrics, surgical and sterilization center, laboratory, general services, elevators and stairs, while the second floor will be for hospitalization (14 beds) and administration.

The services portfolio will consist of 7 consulting rooms: general medicine (2), preventive medicine, surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics and traumatology; shock area, early stimulation, social work, archive, pharmacy, X-ray and ultrasound, blood and gynecological samples, cures, respiratory triage, observation and post-partum recovery.

The construction will cover 4,120 m2 and is expected to be completed by the end of March 2024; it contemplates the paving of the main avenue that connects with Highway 180 and the eventual rehabilitation of Los Angeles Street.
