#EstadoDeQuintanaRoo.- Accompanying the municipal authorities, Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa attended the Third Public and Solemn Cabildo Session on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Kilómetro 50, today the city of José María Morelos.

The Chief Executive highlighted that today this municipality has become a generous land, a place blessed by nature, a municipality that seeks to deepen its development and is already home to more than 47 thousand inhabitants.

Addressing the people of Morelos, from the solemn session led by the municipal president Erik Borges Yam and the full council, Governor Mara Lezama said that the best tribute that the people of Quintana Roo can make on this date is to assume that they have a historical debt with the Mayan people.

Mara Lezama acknowledged the recently deceased Mayan general José Isabel Sulub Cimá, who made history by handing President Andrés Manuel López Obrado the baton of command.

For this reason, said the Governor, since the beginning of this government of change, with the New Agreement for the Welfare and Development of Quintana Roo, there are public policies and actions that go directly to solve the needs of the people, to generate economic growth so that prosperity is shared and benefits everyone.

Mara Lezama made it clear that the transformation carried out by this government requires, as a historical mandate and an ethical imperative, to vindicate the Mayan zone, the original culture.

To the people gathered in this solemn anniversary session, the first woman governor of Quintana Roo outlined some of the actions carried out during these first nine months of government: Woman is Life, with around 1,500 beneficiaries; Woman is Power, a strategy to deliver economic resources to more low-income women.
