#EstadoDeMéxico.- Through the strategy «Abriendo Espacios» (Opening Spaces), training, certification and employment opportunities have been provided to various vulnerable groups, said the Secretary of Labor, Maribel Góngora Espinosa.

Meeting with public servants from the Department of Labor Inclusion, Attention to Vulnerable Groups and Socially Responsible Companies, where the VALPAR System is used to evaluate people with disabilities and senior citizens, the Secretary of Labor said that the objective is to promote specialized attention to job seekers who face greater barriers to employment.

This sector includes people with disabilities, senior citizens, victims of crime and people in a mobility context, including repatriated Mexicans.

He added that advice and support is provided to employers who promote the equitable and inclusive hiring of these groups, as well as the development of job descriptions that can be adapted to be filled by these people.

He indicated that «Abriendo Espacios» operates through the identification of comprehensive profiles and occupational orientation through the application of specialized evaluation instruments, among which the VALPAR Work Sampling System stands out.

Góngora Espinosa emphasized that the evaluation of job skills that is carried out provides certainty to the employer that the candidate will adequately fill the vacancy offered.
