#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- This year 340 people registered to receive the Municipal Civil Merit Award, Tecámac State of Mexico, 2023 edition; the highest award given to citizens who have excelled in different areas of knowledge, art, culture and economic development of the municipality.
For the fifth consecutive year, the government headed by Mayor Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, recognizes the tecamaquenses who have contributed to the progress of the municipality.

Participants registered in one of the ten categories from August 14 to 22, and the results will be announced by the Award Council of the Municipal Civil Merit Award, Tecámac Estado de México 2023 edition, no later than September 6 in the Municipal Gazette.

Six people were registered in the category of scientific merit and research «Heberto Castillo Martínez»; 14 for artistic merit, literature and culture «Felipe Villanueva Gutiérrez, illustrious Mexican musician»; 12 for pedagogical merit and teaching «José Vasconcelos Calderón, apostle of education»; 264 for merit and academic excellence «Niños Héroes de Chapultepec»; six for work in favor of the community «Cruz Roja Mexicana».

Also 25 for municipal public service «Don Germán Estévez López»; two for municipal strengthening «Municipio Hermano de Tenancingo, Estado de México»; two for economic impulse and development «Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles»; four for care and preservation of the environment «Reserva Ecológica Sierra Hermosa»; five for respect for diversity, equality and gender equity «Juana Inés de Asbaje Ramírez de Santillana».
