#EstadoDeQuerétaro.- The governor, Mauricio Kuri González, headed the delivery of computer equipment to members of the state’s fire departments, for the use of the software called Active 911, an Integral Platform for Emergency Management, through which it is intended to automate and streamline services in all the corporations of Querétaro, which represents, he said, an advantage, having the correct information in real time and thus be able to act accordingly.

«I congratulate the Honorable Fire Department for what they are doing, this new application will allow us to identify where things are happening, how big things are and where we have to invest and where we have to pay attention (…) it is very important to know where things are happening to be able to respond with the full force of the state to any incident that happens in Querétaro,» he said.

Kuri Gonzalez recognized the work of Queretaro’s firefighters, who have played a crucial role in protecting the lives and property of Queretaro’s families; he reaffirmed his commitment to provide them with better tools to strengthen their capabilities and enable them to respond with timeliness and efficiency to emergency services that arise.

«All I have to say is thank you, support and my total and absolute commitment to you to continue supporting the firefighters, at this moment we owe a lot to our police officers, investigators (…) of course to the firefighters who work hard every day (…) «, he said.

During the meeting, the general director of the State Coordination of Civil Protection, Javier Amaya Torres, informed that in this fiscal year 2023 the state government has granted a total of 52 million 950 thousand pesos to the different fire departments of Querétaro to support their operations, an action that demonstrates, he emphasized, the sensitivity, closeness and commitment of the Governor with this sector.
