#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- For the second consecutive year, the mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, joined the Red Cross 2023 collection by making a donation of 150 thousand pesos to benefit this institution that has been saving lives for more than 100 years.

Accompanied by the President of the Municipal DIF, Melina Rivera de Unánue, the mayor acknowledged the work done by the members of the charity institution for the benefit of the citizens.

«We offered to support with the collection, we have 60 days so that in different properties of the municipality, public spaces and sports units can perform this exercise and there is a better collection,» said the mayor.

He recalled that the Red Cross is made of many stories and people who in the most extreme and painful situations save lives.

Likewise, Unánue Abascal emphasized that this great institution exists thanks to the sum of efforts and wills, so it is important to join the collection to continue providing a service as necessary as the one they have been providing for more than 100 years in Mexico.
