From January to August 2023, the ASA Network increased passenger service by 11.8% / @jorgenunol @SCT_mx >>>

#SICT.- From January to August 2023, the air terminals that make up the Airports and Auxiliary Services Network (ASA) served two million 732 thousand 352 passengers, 11.8% more than the two million 443 thousand 801 users in the same period of 2022.

The increase in passenger traffic from January to August 2023 was obtained in 11 airports of the ASA Network: Nuevo Laredo, 109%; Ciudad Victoria, 56.5%; Poza Rica, 55.1%; Matamoros, 31.2%; Puerto Escondido, 26.6%; Tepic, 24.6%; Loreto, 21.3%; Colima, 19.4%; Puebla, 16.4%; Uruapan, 15.9%; and Tamuin, with 3.3% growth.

With respect to air operations in the eight-month period reported, 86,683 were carried out in all of the airports that make up the ASA Network, with eight terminals registering positive figures in this area: Nuevo Laredo, 23%; Matamoros, 16.8%; Puebla, 11.2%; Tepic, 8.6%; Guaymas, 7.2%; Uruapan, 3.7%; Nogales, 0.9%; and Ciudad del Carmen, with a positive displacement of 0.4%.

In terms of air cargo, ASA Network terminals recorded a total of 3,359,797 kilograms displaced as origin and destination during the January-August 2023 period.
