Boca del Río Mayor, JM Unánue, announces Boca as host of the IPN Eleven K Run / @JM_UNANUE @_BocadelRio >>>

#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- Boca del Rio joins the venues of the traditional IPN Eleven K race to be held on October 8 on Vicente Fox Boulevard as part of the celebration of the 87th anniversary of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), thus confirming the city as an indispensable destination for sports tourism in the country.

In the presentation to the media, Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal said that it is a pleasure that they have set their sights on Boca del Río, since the municipality has everything to receive them, such as public spaces, boulevards, modern infrastructure in the city, hotels and different services with the capacity for first class attention.

«We have seen this in the two years of government, in which we received many national and international sporting events throughout the year and for the first time in Veracruz, the National Polytechnic Institute chooses Boca del Rio to hold this race,» said Unánue Abascal.

Besides being a tourist pole, Boca del Rio has become a preferred destination for events of different sports disciplines, which generates an important economic spill with visitors mainly from Mexico City, Puebla and Tlaxcala, either for sports or just to enjoy a weekend.

María Angélica Hernández Ávila; Director of the Center for Innovation and Integration of Advanced Technologies Veracruz Unit of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), informed that besides being a race, it is a 5 and 11 kilometer family run on Vicente Fox Boulevard, starting at the Forum at 6 a.m.
