AMLO announces oncology hospital and water from AIFA wells for Ecatepec / @FerVilchisMx @Ecatepec >>>

#Ecatepec, #Edoméx.- The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, pledged before thousands of inhabitants to allocate drinking water from the wells that were drilled for the «Felipe Ángeles» International Airport (AIFA), to supply Ecatepec.

During an event held at the sports fields of the Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Ecatepec, the federal executive also pledged to complete the Oncology Hospital, which has been under construction for several years.

In the company of the governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, and the municipal president of Ecatepec, Fernando Vilchis Contreras, LópezObrador said: «As we needed water at the airport, there the military engineers drilled wells and they came out good and now I asked General Loza, who is the head of the military engineers, I asked him if we could bring water from the wells of the Felipe Angeles Airport to Ecatepec and he told me that we can have a considerable amount of water, as proto possible from the wells to the aqueduct for Ecatepec, so that there will be more water to Ecatepec.»

López Obrador highlighted the participation of the people of Ecatepec in the transformation of the State of Mexico and the country.

He recognized that historically the municipality has resisted the abuses of bad governments, which has made them a people who fight daily.

«You had the good sense, you made a very good decision to elect Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez, who represents all the people of the State of Mexico, who respects everyone, who listens to everyone, but Mrs. Delfina, like the one who speaks to you, always gives preference to the most humble, the poor, the humiliated of our country,» he added.

The President of Mexico announced that in Ecatepec and in the State of Mexico, the federal government will maintain all the Welfare programs for the benefit of young people, people with disabilities, single mothers, and senior citizens, among others.

He also witnessed the signing of the agreement to implement the universal pension for people with disabilities in the State of Mexico.
