#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- After observing a minute of silence in memory of the victims of hurricane «Otis,» the municipal president Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante urged the population to send aid to the affected area in Guerrero.

During the civic ceremony held this Monday at the «Solidaridad 1990» elementary school, she announced that they are already in contact with the municipality of Coyuca de Benítez to deliver the aid collected in Tecámac, because not only Acapulco was affected.

She explained that next Wednesday at the latest the aid for the victims of this natural phenomenon will go out, and that with the authorization of the H. Cabildo the Government of Tecámac will deliver the same amount of support that was received in the five collection centers that were installed.

Upon delivering the roof arch of this elementary school, located in the Ampliación Esmeralda neighborhood, with an investment of 1,605,671.65 pesos, he emphasized that these works are carried out by exercising the resources in an honest and uncorrupted manner.

She pointed out that this roof arch is one of the 50 that have been delivered during his administration; she pointed out that in the nearly five years of government, more than 200 works have been carried out to improve the educational infrastructure, such as the rehabilitation of bathrooms, classrooms and perimeter walls.

She mentioned that with the start-up of Vocacional 19 of the IPN, the CECATI in Urbi, the telesecundaria in Ojo de Agua and the Tecnológico Nacional de México, Tecámac is preparing to leave the best legacy for the new generations, which are better educational spaces.
