#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, assured that youth is synonymous with new ideas and transformation; therefore, she invited them to work hand in hand in her administration for the construction of a better State of Mexico.

«The most important thing is citizen participation. If a ruler does not listen to his people, if a ruler does not recognize first hand the necessary sources that each community has, he is really oblivious to the needs of his people,» he explained.

While participating in the XXXI Congress of the National Association of Students of Political Science and Public Administration (ANECPAP), she announced that the Development Plan for the State of Mexico will soon be presented, and she invited young people to participate with proposals.

The State Governor emphasized that this event not only represents a space for academic exchange, but also a very clear demonstration of commitment, as well as the dedication of the youth, to fulfill a better future in our beloved State of Mexico and, why not say it, at a national level.

During her presentation, entitled Citizen Participation, which was held in the «Aurora Jiménez de Palacios» Auditorium, of the Federal Chamber of Deputies in San Lazaro, Maestra Delfina Gómez stressed that citizen participation is important, but particularly that of young people is crucial to face the challenges of building a more prosperous and just State of Mexico.

«Today we face diverse challenges as an administration. We recognize that the areas in which we must work together, not only adult society, but also young people, is mainly in security, the economy, in the development of social welfare, because these are actions that, I insist, will only be strengthened with citizen participation,» he stressed.
