#SICT.- The Undersecretary of Transportation, Rogelio Jiménez Pons, on behalf of the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), Jorge Nuño Lara, recognized this union in the framework of the celebrations and assured that this public service is close to the people.

Accompanied by the Director General of the Mexican Postal Service (SEPOMEX), Rocío Bárcena Molina, he emphasized that the current administration has made it possible to recover an activity that had been considered lost.

In her turn, the Director General of SEPOMEX, Rocío Bárcena Molina, stated that today letter carriers and postwomen continue to be heroes who travel all over the country, which is why awards were presented to postal employees with more than 25 years and up to 40 years of service.

Bárcena Molina pointed out that they are people close to the population, who have earned the affection and recognition of their families and neighbors in the areas where they deliver their mail. Their service work is very important, guaranteeing Mexicans access to communication.

Let this celebration act serve to send a message to the population: Correos de México is more alive and vigorous than ever, and in full transformation, he emphasized.
