#SECTUR.- He pointed out that the above was carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 25 of the Agreement by which the National Strategy of Magical Towns is issued, which establishes that the integration and operation of the Citizen Committees must be in accordance with the provisions issued by the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) for such purpose.

The head of Sectur indicated that the purpose of these Committees is to promote the actions and tourist activity of the Magical Town, according to the municipal, state and national programs in the matter; joining efforts between the three orders of government and the private initiative.

He also emphasized that they must guarantee the inclusion of all sectors of society involved in the well-being and development of tourism activity in the Magical Towns, thus ensuring full governance.

Torruco Marqués emphasized that the Citizen Committees of the Magical Towns will be made up of a minimum of five people residing in the municipality, whose economic activity is related to tourism and are active members of chambers and/or associations of the sector, headed by the mayor of the Magical Town. That is to say, a president, a coordinator, a technical secretary and two to four members.
