#Guanajuato, #Gto.- The mayor of Guanajuato Capital, Alejandro Navarro, confirmed that the construction of the skatepark bowl at the Ciudad Deportiva in Yerbabuena, in the southern part of the city, has been completed.

«We are very grateful for the support of the Yerbabuena Skatepark GTO kids for joining this great project with their comments,» said Navarro, after recalling that 3 million 446,123 pesos were invested in the construction of the bowl and the skatepark’s lighting.

The Mayor of Guanajuato, Capital of Sports, said that he will soon come to supervise the final details of the bowl and the entire street area.

«We visited the Yerbabuena skatepark to talk about ideas and concerns and check on the progress of the project, which is well underway. Undoubtedly, a great job is being done on this project, stay tuned for more information about the bowl and the opening to use the entire street area,» said the group Yerbabuena Skatepark GTO, which, since the beginning of the work, accompanied the General Directorate of Public Works to review each stage of construction, detail by detail.

After the announcement, Navarro emphasized once again that Guanajuato Capital broke its own record for investment in sports infrastructure, with a total of 69 million 096 thousand 871 pesos in five years of administration.

In addition to the skatepark, tennis courts are also being built in the Sports City, with an investment of 3 million 980 thousand 548 pesos, and a seven-a-side soccer field, with an investment of 2 million 922 thousand 350 pesos. Among other refurbishments and additional areas, the second stage of the baseball field also stands out, with a total of 6 million 451 thousand 128 pesos.
