Governor Delfina Gómez installs Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace in Coacalco; 9 high-impact crimes reduced / @delfinagomeza @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- Upon installing the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace in Coacalco, the Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, learned about the state security report where she points out the decrease of nine high impact crimes out of 12 that are registered in this municipality.

According to figures presented by the Secretary of Security of the State of Mexico (SSEM), from January to December 2023, femicide, robbery with violence to businesses and vehicles were the crimes that registered a greater drop, of 60 percent, in relation to the period from January to December 2022.

Similarly, crimes such as extortion, home robbery with violence, vehicle robbery without violence and robbery of public transportation with violence registered a downward trend during the same annual period of 2023 compared to 2022.

Governor Delfina Gómez acknowledged the work and progress made in the municipality of Coacalco and reiterated that she will continue working hand in hand with federal, state and municipal authorities for the benefit of this municipality.

At table number 30 were Horacio Duarte Olivares, Secretary General of Government of the State of Mexico; Yuriria Torres Páez, Undersecretary of State Police representing the Secretary of Security, Andrés Andrade Téllez; José Luis Cervantes Martínez, Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM); and David Sánchez Isidoro, Municipal President of Coacalco.
