#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The Mayoress of Tecámac, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, acknowledged the Mexican Army for the work it carries out in favor of the population, which has become a fundamental institution in this Fourth Transformation of the country.

On behalf of the people of Tecamaquenses, she expressed the pride of heading a municipality that embraces the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), one of the emblematic works of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, which was in charge of military engineers.

In the framework of the 111th anniversary of the Army Day, she highlighted that there has always been a great collaboration between the institution and the municipal government, which provides certainty in terms of security and infrastructure in favor of the people of Tecamaquenses.

Gutiérrez Escalante pointed out that the relationship between the municipal authorities and the Armed Forces has grown closer over time, especially due to the operation of the Santa Lucía Air Base, which has been located in the region since 1952.

She assured that the coexistence of the military with the population of this demarcation has always been harmonious and fruitful.
