SICT and CONAGUA report on controlled water leakage / @jorgenunol @SICTmx >>>

#SICT.- Regarding the rupture of a pipeline of the Los Reyes-Ferrocarril Branch, the National Water Commission (Conagua) informs that the leak was controlled at 21:50 hours, by personnel of the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) and this Commission.
The leak occurred while the SICT was carrying out work to change the routing of a pipe for the construction of a pedestrian bridge. This required modifying the location of a 10-inch diameter line that connects well 3 to the Los Reyes-Railroad Branch. During this maneuver, a coupling joint was moved, which caused the runoff.

It is important to note that this infrastructure does not form part of or affect the Cutzamala System.
The brigades of Infrastructure Protection and Emergency Attention (PIAE) deployed specialized personnel and equipment to collaborate in the work of removing the water and mitigating the effects on the population.
Three Vactor trucks from Tultitlán, Tlalnepantla and the Water Commission of the State of Mexico (CAEM) also provided support.
