México promotes air connectivity in Germany at ITB 2024 in Berlin / @TorrucoTurismo @SECTUR_mx >>>

#SECTUR.- Mexico’s pavilion has a space of 305 square meters, in which 38 exhibitors participate distributed in 35 booths, 20 cross tables, 16 desks, 2 tables, 2 corners, 1 lounge, 2 meeting rooms for 6 people and a space for the Mayan Train.

As part of the activities of the Mexican delegation at ITB Berlin 2024, the authorities of Tourism and the Embassy of Mexico in Germany held a meeting with the Federal Tourism Coordinator of Germany, Dieter Janecek, among other authorities of this agency, with whom the importance of German tourism in Mexico was highlighted, and opportunities for joint promotion of tourism flow between the two countries were analyzed.
Within the framework of ITB Berlin 2024, the Mexican delegation held a series of meetings with German airline executives to promote air connectivity.

This year, 327,902 seats from Germany to Mexico are programmed, which represents an increase of 7.6% over 2023. In 2024, 1,22 thousand 22 flights are scheduled, which is 5.6% more than the flights registered last year.

Oliver Feess, Condor’s Air Route Planning Manager, discussed, among other topics, the new route that will operate from Frankfurt to Los Cabos, which will start operating in November 2024, as well as its intention to fly to the Felipe Angeles International Airport. Currently, the airline has connections from Frankfurt to Cancun.
