IMSS-Bienestar strengthens with «La Clínica es Nuestra», physician recruitment and Institutional Supply System / @Tu_IMSS >>>
#IMSS.- IMSS-Bienestar is strengthened with the program La Clínica es Nuestra, a call for the hiring of specialist doctors and the implementation of the Institutional Supply System (Sistema de Abasto Institucional, SAI), in order to guarantee supply to medical units. During the press conference held by the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, at the National Palace, the Director General of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Zoé Robledo, said that La Clínica es Nuestra seeks to improve the physical conditions of equipment and access to medicines at first contact health units.
He reported that the Health Centers serve localities where between 500 and six thousand families live, and must have at least one doctor and two nurses. The strategy will operate in 2,122 municipalities in 10,668 localities in the 23 states where IMSS-Bienestar operates.
«It is a program for transfers to be given to the Wellness Health Committees; that is, the population determines the integration of a health committee that serves in that unit and that is where the transfer is made so that they can carry out the action decided by the community, whether it is infrastructure, equipment or furniture.»
He informed that this April 8, the rules of operation of the subsidy program were published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, with which the community identifies and decides the use of the resources through the creation of a committee (Consabi) and from eight thousand 176 assemblies that will be held in total.

He announced the delivery of a bonus for specialist doctors, who are basified at the time of their hiring; he reported that out of 25 thousand 575 that were available in 2018 to attend to the population, seven thousand 226 more were hired, among recent graduates thanks to resident scholarships and the agreement with the Cuban health services.
In view of the need for care in 282 community or general hospitals located in marginalized areas, he announced that this April 9 at 5:00 p.m. the call for the hiring of 4,10 medical doctors and specialists for IMSS-Bienestar medical and hospital units will open; from April 9 to 23, in core specialties such as Surgery, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine; those interested can register at profesionalesdelasalud.imssbienestar.gob.mx.
