New autism center begins operations in Cuautitlan Izcalli / @GobIzcalli >>>

#CuautitlánIzcalli, #Edoméx.- The Autism Center of Cuautitlán Izcalli (CATCI) begins operations, the first in the state that will provide diagnosis and treatment for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and whose objective is to be a Primary Care Center for early detection.

The Municipal Government of Cuautitlán Izcalli, through the Municipal DIF System, emphasizes the importance of being an inclusive, humane and supportive municipality that takes care of the health of the people of Izcalli, which is why the opening of the center has five modules for the care and monitoring of patients in social skills, language, psychology, pedagogy and sensory therapy.

It also has diagnostic batteries of greater relevance worldwide, such as ADOS2 among others, with certified personnel to apply such tests.

CATCI opened its doors with a list of 106 scheduled patients, including first-time patients and patients with integrated diagnosis to start therapeutic treatment.

Similarly, it aims to be a Primary Care Center for the timely detection and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, which has staff trained in the field of Autism, to promote the comprehensive development, inclusion and multidisciplinary care to users, in addition to training and providing greater support to parents to coordinate comprehensive care by conducting workshops, awareness talks, awareness and ongoing training.

It is important to note that according to data issued by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), in Mexico there is a record of 45 thousand children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, so having a center where you can make a timely and early detection, will help provide quality care to the patient and his family.

It is worth mentioning that the diagnostic costs are up to 70 percent lower compared to other centers in the state.
