#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Guanajuato.- «There is only one way» in education, more scholarships for students in San Miguel de Allende, said Mauricio Trejo Pureco on social networks. As Governor, he assured, has been one of his main objectives; «to strengthen the education sector to have better students and professionals sanmiguelenses».
«When we entered the administration there were not even 300 young people on scholarships and who did not receive more than one thousand two hundred pesos, in two and a half years, we have almost three thousand young Sanmiguelenses on scholarships who receive eight thousand two hundred pesos, making us the municipality with the highest BECAS in Guanajuato«, #MauricioTrejo.
Trejo Pureco assured that there is a commitment to have, every day, a better San Miguel and, «that has been my maximum illusion and vocation to work to change, as we are doing, the living conditions of the people of San Miguel.»
«The goal is that in the next three years, we will have six thousand young people of excellence with scholarships in San Miguel with eight thousand two hundred pesos» and, he added, that this amount not only helps the students with their studies, but, perhaps, contributes something for their home.
It is worth noting that never in the history of San Miguel de Allende has so much been invested in education, which has reduced poverty and school dropout rates in the municipality.
