Out-of-School Early Education Program reaches rural, indigenous and highly marginalized areas: SECTI / @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- Children under three years of age living in rural areas, indigenous communities and highly marginalized urban areas, receive Non-School Early Education through the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of the State of Mexico (SECTI).

Mothers and fathers, as well as pregnant women, are instructed in good parenting practices through sessions where play and interaction are promoted to promote learning for the integral development of girls and boys.

This program is developed by the Integrated Educational Services of the State of Mexico (SEIEM), which depends on SECTI. The sessions with tutors focus on the reflection of favorable parenting practices for Early Childhood, from birth to two years and 11 months of age, while preparing for a successful transition to preschool education.

According to SEIEM, the involvement and participation of families and other members of the community has favorably oriented the relationship between adults and infants in their daily activities.

The agency attached to the SECTI emphasizes that this type of education should be seen as a right and not a privilege, since it is required in a fundamental stage for the development of Early Childhood and because it lays the foundations for learning and emotional development, as well as attitudes that promote dialogue and tolerance in interpersonal relationships.

He emphasized that Early Education has an impact on the effectiveness of the educational system, because it helps not only to improve learning, but also to reduce school failure and failure rates, thanks to the different aspects of its social function, such as assistance, which attends to the needs of nutrition, prevention and health treatment.

The educational authorities point out that this educational model constitutes the substantive basis of the long-term learning process and is vital for the stimulation and care received by infants, for the development of social, cognitive, sensory, perceptual and motor skills.
