Edoméx recorded a 10.8 percent decrease in the number of homicide victims, compared to 2023 / @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- In the period from January 1 to April 21 of this year, the entity registers a 10.8 percent decrease in the number of homicide victims, compared to the same period in 2023.

Meanwhile, from April 1 to April 21, 2024, the decrease in homicide victims is 20 percent compared to the same period in 2023.

The figures of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Estado de Estado de Estado de México, which are also submitted to the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System, the institution responsible for compiling the official figures, establish the decrease in homicide victims.

The review of these figures is carried out daily in the Coordination Tables for the Construction of Peace headed, in the State of Mexico, by Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez, with the participation of federal and state security institutions.

In the entity, actions are carried out in a coordinated manner by the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR), the National Guard (GN), the National Intelligence Center (CNI), the federal Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), through the National Anti-Kidnapping Coordination (CONASE), the National Anti-Homicide Commission (CONAHO), the Secretariat of Security (SSEM), the state Attorney General’s Office and municipal police to reduce high-impact crimes.
