The next Mexican Congress will work in coordination with the Government of the State of Mexico: Samuel Hernández / @Edomex

#EstadoDeMéxico.- Samuel Hernandez Cruz, candidate for local deputy for the 33rd district for the coalition «Sigamos Haciendo Historia», said that the next legislature will work in collaboration with the government of the State of Mexico, to promote development in the municipalities mainly in tourism, strengthening water infrastructure and boosting the countryside.

He mentioned that among his proposals is to promote the «Teotihuacan Plan», to take advantage of the tourist vocation of the region, and to strengthen the infrastructure of the municipalities surrounding this area, which is the most visited in the country.

In a press conference, the candidate of Morena, PT and Verde Ecologista, explained that during the construction of the Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA), the development of eleven municipalities of the State of Mexico and Hidalgo was boosted, but currently the action polygon must be expanded and the development of the Valley of Teotihuacan must be boosted.

He explained that before the pandemic, the pyramids of El Sol and La Luna were the most visited in the country with the annual arrival of 3.5 million tourists, which is why it is necessary to strengthen their tourist vocation through working groups, in order to reduce the backwardness of the five communities surrounding the archaeological zone, which have been abandoned due to the indolence and corruption of the municipal governments.

In his meeting with the media, he highlighted that in his visits to the municipalities of Teotihuacán, San Martín de las Pirámides, Axapusco, Temascalapa, Nopaltepec and Tecámac; the main demands of the citizens are to implement water infrastructure works and improve health services.

Hernandez Cruz, said he will be a representative of the six municipalities that make up the district in the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, and will be a link to ensure the right to water service. He will present an initiative to review the Administrative Code and the laws related to the construction of subdivisions and medium and high impact economic units, so that they have infrastructure for rainwater collection and wastewater treatment.
