ACAA concludes air verification program throughout the country / @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC) and Mexican Airspace Navigation Services (SENEAM), inform that two months ago a verification program was enabled that includes the review and calibration of radio aids in the national territory.

To date, 95% of the existing radio aids at national level have been verified, thus obtaining a high rate of compliance with international operating margins.

It should be pointed out that the verification tasks carried out during the last two months represent an unprecedented work, due to the high number of revisions and calibrations performed in such a short period of time.

At all times, air safety was prioritized and SENEAM engineers maintained the navigation systems within the operating standards, the evidence of which was presented to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

To this end, SENEAM anticipated international requirements in terms of aerial verification, using state-of-the-art technology in order to keep the navigation systems permanently calibrated and comply with international regulations.
