Ministry of Economy presents new tools to strengthen MSMEs / @SE_mx >>>

#SE.- On the occasion of the International Day of Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and at the inauguration of the second edition of the Conference «Hand in Hand with your Business», the Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, Alejandro Encinas Nájera, presented three new tools to strengthen and promote them: the MSMEsMX portal, the One-Stop Shop for MSMEs and the dossier «Mexican MSMEs: the engine of our economy».

The inauguration event was presided over by the Secretary of Economic Development of Oaxaca, Raúl Ruíz Robles; the Undersecretary of Higher Education of the Ministry of Public Education, Luciano Concheiro; the General Director of Financiera para el Bienestar, Rocío Mejía; and the President of the Union of Producers of Tejate Sabor a Huayapan A.C., Sofía Reyna.

Undersecretary Encinas Nájera indicated that Mexico has 4.7 million MSMEs and they represent the source of employment for 7 out of every 10 Mexicans, which is equivalent to 27 million Mexicans and they are considered the country’s major employers.

He emphasized that these days are the endorsement of the continuous commitment of the Government of Mexico and the Government of Oaxaca to strengthen the business, social and community fabric that MSMEs represent.

To celebrate these companies on their day, the Undersecretary of Foreign Trade emphasized that the new instruments seek to empower and make life easier for MSMEs, as well as to communicate their importance and the challenges to be overcome. It also makes visible the 74 actions of the federal government, through 25 public institutions, that are offered for the benefit of MSMEs throughout the country.
