#EstadoDeVeracruz.- With an attractive representation of the eight Magical Towns, the Magical Neighborhood of Xallitic and 39 tour operators, Veracruz stood out at the Third International Tianguis of Magical Towns and managed to position itself among the favorite destinations for future vacations.

At the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, the Ministry of Tourism, municipal authorities, tour operators and artisans presented the richness of the state to national and foreign buyers through conferences, exhibitions, commercial exchanges and sensory experiences.

Thus, the international community learned more about Coatepec, its coffee and variety of orchids; Córdoba with its historical and colonial legacy; Coscomatepec for its architecture and mountainous landscapes; Naolinco and its shoe and leather workshops; Orizaba with its historical wealth and cable car; Papantla with the Danza de los Voladores and vanilla; Xico for its festivities and gastronomy, and Zozocolco for its grandiose natural environment and colonial beauty.

The head of the agency, Iván Martínez Olvera, emphasized the exponential growth of Veracruz’s presence worldwide, since last year’s edition registered the participation of 12 tour operators and this time the figure exceeded three times that of last year.

He also highlighted the importance of a team, inclusive and responsible promotion that makes tourism a tool for wellbeing and social reconciliation, resulting in Boca del Río receiving the National Magic Towns Tianguis from September 10 to 12.
