IMSS Quintana Roo reinforces strategy to allow continuity of services in the face of the impact of hurricane Beryl / @Tu_IMSS >>>

#IMSS.- The Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) in Quintana Roo, put into operation the Civil Protection protocols to supervise that the hospital infrastructure is in the best conditions and to maintain without interruption the medical services required by the population, before, during and after the possible impact of Hurricane Beryl.

The Civil Protection plan includes a permanent session and the work is headed by the head of IMSS in the state, Dr. Javier Michael Naranjo García, with the participation of: Master Annuar Rubio, Coordinator of Conservation and General Services; Dr. Elizabeth Hernández, Technical Coordinator of Civil Protection, both officials from the Central Level who are in Cancun as part of the Sixth Regional Meeting Southeast 2024.

A virtual meeting was also held with state authorities headed by Governor Mara Lezama, the Secretary of Health and Director of State Health Services in the state, Flavio Carlos Rosado, representatives of ISSSTE and private hospitals in Quintana Roo, in order to reach agreements for a coordinated work for the benefit of the population of Quintana Roo.

During the meeting, Annuar Rubio informed the Governor that the General Director of the IMSS, Maestro Zoé Robledo, is keeping an eye on the work and will personally go to Quintana Roo prior to the impact of the meteor.

On the other hand, Dr. Hernandez informed that two electric power plants and a water treatment plant are on their way.
