#Veracruz, #Ver.- Due to an intense rainfall not predicted by official forecasts (due to the complexity of predicting its intensity), more than 70 mm of water fell in the city of Veracruz in a period of two hours, an amount of water greater than that which fell during Hurricane Stan in 2005, which averaged 20 mm every two hours.

Likewise, the operation of the Valencia, Lafragua, Washington and Alcocer storm drains was monitored, which relieved the water effectively, allowing water levels to drop rapidly in their areas of influence.

The crews will continue in the field to release culverts and help water levels continue to drop throughout the municipality.
