#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Cineteca Mexiquense, a space that brings the population closer to the seventh art, on this occasion opened its doors to welcome Luis Felipe Tovar, one of the most renowned Mexican actors.

This meeting began with the screening of the film “Bienvenido Welcome”, directed by Gabriel Retes, which tells two intertwined stories that take place during the course of the same day in Acapulco.

Afterwards, the actor participated in a conversation where he spoke with the audience about his vision regarding the improvements in Mexican cinema, which represents hope for the new generations who dream of becoming actors.

In addition, he shared his anecdotes during the filming of the movie, along with actors such as Gabriel Retes, Lourdes Elizarrarás and Jesse Borrego.

“Watching this film generates an enormous nostalgia in me because many of those who participated in it are no longer with us, starting with the director, a great character, a great human being whom I loved very much and who practically took me to the movies. This film was a gift, because he was a little depressed and here he is after 30 years, making people laugh,” said the actor.

Luis Felipe Tovar highlighted the importance of having a space like the Cineteca Mexiquense, since it is a perfect opportunity to bring young people closer to culture, to good quality films at affordable prices.
