#Celaya, #Gto.- With music, food and gifts, the Honda de Mexico Philanthropy Celaya Plant team celebrated Grandparents’ Day with the elderly of the San Juan de la Vega Gerontological Center of the DIF Celaya System.

Wheelchairs, walkers, canes and blankets were some of the gifts that the Honda team, led by Virginia López Salcedo, as well as the General Director of the DIF Celaya System, María del Carmen Núñez Mares, delivered to the elderly this Friday morning.

“Thank you very much Honda, for all this that you bring to our dear seniors to close with a flourish the celebrations for the month of the elderly; please share our deep appreciation with your managers,” said the Director General of the System for Integral Family Development during her welcome message.

There were 5 wheelchairs, 5 walkers and 10 canes, the orthopedic devices delivered, as well as 50 blankets, after a pleasant get-together with the seniors.

“Today is a very special day, because it is a day to honor and thank the people who have given us so much love, wisdom and support throughout our lives, Happy Grandparents’ Day,” concluded Virginia Lopez.
