#GobiernoDeMéxico.- As part of the activities of the Group of Twenty (G20) Leaders’ Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, held bilateral meetings with the leaders of the United States, Canada, China, Colombia, Vietnam and France.
She also held a meeting with the progressive leaders of Latin America, Brazil and Chile, as well as with the members of MIKTA: Indonesia, Republic of Korea, Turkey and Australia.
With the President of the United States of America, Joseph Biden, the head of the Federal Executive spoke about the good relationship that exists between the two nations and the importance of working together on migration, security and economic issues, endorsing the friendship between the two countries.
In her dialogue with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, both presidents agreed on the good results of the Trade Agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC) for the North American region. They also discussed the good relationship between the peoples of both nations and their governments.
In a meeting with the President of China, Xi Jinping, he thanked China for its support in the recovery of Acapulco through the production and delivery of household goods after the municipality was affected by meteorological phenomena.
With the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, they agreed to cooperate on water, health and infrastructure issues, as well as to promote gender equality from both nations.
