1,800 families in Chalco receive household goods; Governor Delfina Gómez deploys brigades to deliver the aid / @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- “We are here, I insist, to supervise and deliver what we had promised to bring you a few weeks ago. Today, in this process of delivering aid, we are delivering packages of household goods that include mattresses and bases for double and single beds, stove, washing machine, refrigerator and blender for more than 1,800 families,” announced Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez on Monday, November 18.

Thus, for the third consecutive day, brigadistas from the three orders of government toured the neighborhoods of Culturas de México and Jacalones, visiting house by house, to deliver, so far, 500 of the 1,800 items of support that will be distributed among the families affected by the last rainy season.

“I thank you for what you are doing for us now, because unfortunately, after 10 years, nobody had turned their eyes towards us and I thank you because you are still going to do a lot and you are still going to repair the collector, you are going to do several works there, I am very grateful to the Government”, acknowledged Araceli Rodríguez Morales, a neighbor of the Culturas de México neighborhood.

These tasks are supported by 400 elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Defense), National Guard (GN); State Security Secretariat (SSEM); General Secretariat of Government of the State of Mexico; the state and federal Welfare Secretariats; state and municipal Civil Protection; as well as 60 vehicles that move the goods to the homes of women, elderly or disabled people.

“I am very grateful to you because you brought us everything, you came to see how we were in the water and took us to the shelter, I wish you many blessings and may you continue to move forward,” said Pilar Sarrosa Coronado, a neighbor of the Jacalones neighborhood.
