#EstadoDeHidalgo.- In the framework of the Tenth Anniversary of the Justice Center for Women of the State of Hidalgo (CJMH), Governor Julio Menchaca Salazar pointed out that his administration will continue to promote specific programs that promote the active participation of women in the public and productive life of the entity.

As guest of honor, the Secretary of Women of the Government of Mexico, Citlalli Hernández Mora, said that this anniversary represents 10 years of stories of women who faced contexts of violence, so this Justice Center meant a new future and a new opportunity to think that it is possible to move forward, she said.

The federal official added that our country is going through a historic moment, because the profound struggle of women in a world that was built by and for men is recognized, however, times have changed and that is why: “Today Mexico is an example at a global level, because today we see the Chambers of Deputies and Senators, half men and half women,” she said.

Under this sense, Menchaca Salazar explained that there are specific public policies in each state secretariat to generate conditions of patrimony and economy for the women of Hidalgo, when these efforts are synthesized in a government commitment, we can make effective that the scheme of ‘women’s time’ is accompanied by dignity, decorum, present and a much better future.

“In this administration, not only has it raised the rights that all sectors should have, particularly women, but it has accompanied them with something very important, which is the budget, because otherwise it only remains in good intentions”, she considered.

During this event, the economic support called “Actions of Empowerment for Women in a Situation of Gender Violence Performed” was delivered, which has benefited 255 users, from 2015 to date, with an amount of up to 15 thousand pesos.

Sayda Yadira Blanco Morfín, coordinator of Public Policies for the Eradication of Violence and in charge of Affairs of the National Commission to Prevent and Eradicate Violence against Women, emphasized that “the commemoration of the Justice Center allows us to remember the progress that has been taking place in the defense of women’s rights in Hidalgo.
