#EstadoDeMéxico.- The College of Notaries of the State of Mexico elected Humberto Benítez González as president of its Board of Directors for the period 2025-2026.

The appointment will be formalized on January 1, marking the beginning of a term that, according to what was stated during the ceremony, will focus on modernization, training and social justice.

At the General Assembly, and with the participation of 80 percent of its members, María Guadalupe Montes Flores was also elected as secretary and Alfonso Flores Macedo as treasurer.

Benítez González will be accompanied by a team of 11 jurists, nine of whom are certified mediators.

State Legal Counsel will work with the new leadership to bring justice closer to the people of Mexico.
The state legal counselor Jesús George Zamora congratulated Humberto Benítez González on his appointment as the new president of the Board of Directors.

“The Counselor’s Office endorses its vocation to promote coordinated actions with the next leadership, which will allow to continue bringing justice closer to the people, in compliance with the Development Plan of the State of Mexico 2023-2029,” said the state agency.

According to this information, the guiding principles on which they will work together will be the modernization and digitalization of notaries, training based on competencies and the promotion of a management based on Ethics, Transparency and Social Justice.

George Zamora acknowledged the management of the Board of Directors 2023-2024, headed by Juan Castañeda Salinas, who, he said, strengthened the academic offerings with the Master’s Degree in Notarial Law; notarial tutoring courses, the initiation to the notarial function and a Diploma in Contracts.

The infrastructure of the Institute of Notarial Studies was also expanded, which places it at the forefront at the national level.
